These games and simulations are designed for use in business and operations management courses. They make abstract concepts concrete — putting students in the role of decision-maker and letting them feel the consequences of their choices. Several are developed and distributed in collaboration with Happy Harpy Games.
A web-based simulation set in a busy emergency department. Students manage patient flow, staffing, and capacity decisions in real time, experiencing firsthand the operational consequences of demand variability and resource constraints. Useful for teaching queueing theory, capacity flexibility, and service operations concepts.
A lightweight simulation tool that models how different levels of resources affect customer waiting times, set in the context of a large venue’s restroom facilities. A quick, accessible way to introduce students to the relationship between capacity, utilization, and wait times without requiring heavy technical background.
